drag baby drag

One of my besties doing drag. He rocks it. Haven't mastered taking photos in a dark night club yet, was shooting this one with a cheap 50mm lense using an aperture of 1.8. Too hard to quick focus with so much movement, so I had it set to a fix focus point. The lense wasn't the best at quickly focusing.... which sucks. More expensive lenses? I think so. eeck for the bank account.

form and light

Okay so I don't have a studio but this is me screwing around with a painting/construction light and a dark room. Thankfully I had a lovely subject that didn't mind burning under the hot light. Keen to push this idea of black and only a little bit of form light that makes the subject almost abstract... hope you like it. x
